He attended St. Alphonsa’s High School in Hyderabad and later graduated from Christ University in Bengaluru with a degree in mass communication, with studies in theatre and English literature. He is of Telugu ethnicity and follows Hinduism.

Santosh began as a child actor, appearing in the sports drama Golconda High School (2011) directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti, where he played Gowtham alongside his brother. He followed with a supporting role in Bangaru Kodipetta (2014).
