Spencer Lofranco was born on 18 October 1992 in Toronto, Canada, to lawyer Rocco C. Lofranco and opera singer Amy Lofranco.
He had one older brother, Santino Lofranco, and was raised in Thornhill, Ontario, after his parents divorced when he was a child.
He attended Robert Land Academy, a military school, from ninth through twelfth grade after struggling in traditional schooling, and later completed a one-year conservatory program at the New York Film Academy.
