He appeared in The Aviator, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Coach Carter, The Amazing Spider-Man, and Hot Pursuit. From 2016 to 2018, he played Detective Carlos Espada in Shades of Blue. More recent credits include Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, Inside Man, and American Sports Story, where he portrayed Dennis Hernandez.
Alongside acting, Laresca developed a career in hospitality and restaurant ownership in Los Angeles. He founded Blue Collar Hospitality and became associated with restaurant and bar ventures including Roadside Taco and other hospitality concepts. In 2026, he helped bring El Ruso to its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Studio City.
