Christine Michelle Metz, better known as Chrissy Metz, was born on September 29, 1980, in Homestead, Florida.

She is now 44. Growing up in a bustling household, she shared her childhood with several siblings, including Monica, Abigail, and Morgana, as well as brother Philip. Chrissy was raised by her parents, Denise Hodge and Mark Metz.

During her childhood, she lived in Japan while her father served in the US Navy. Later, the family relocated to Gainesville, Florida, where she completed her education from elementary to high school.
