Early life and education
Erinn Westbrook was born on January 12, 1988, on Long Island, New York. She’s the daughter of Kelvin R. Westbrook and Valerie D. Bell.
She is the middle child of three, having an older sister, Lauren N. Westbrook, and a younger brother, Brent C. Westbrook. Both of her siblings also attended Harvard University.
Westbrook spent the first six years of her life in New York before her family relocated to Town and Country, Missouri, near St. Louis. She attended John Burroughs School, where she was captain of the cheerleading squad and graduated in 2006.
She went on to Harvard University, becoming the tenth member of her family to attend the institution.
She graduated in 2010, majoring in English, American Literature and Language, alongside a secondary concentration in Dramatic Arts and an advanced certification in Spanish.

Erinn Westbrook began her entertainment career as an MTV and mtvU on-air personality, hosting Movers & Changers and appearing as a host at MTV Spring Break events.
Before and during her transition into acting, she also worked as a model and appeared in campaigns and publications including Nike, Vineyard Vines, Seventeen and Cosmopolitan.
Her acting career developed rapidly in the early 2010s. She appeared in 1000 Ways to Die, Switched at Birth and Mr. Box Office before landing the role of Bree, captain of the Cheerios, on Glee in 2013.
