Early Life and Education

Khyati Joshi, known professionally as Gulki Joshi, was born on 17 May 1990 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

She is the daughter of Rakesh Joshi (also documented as Hemant Joshi), a director and retired All India Radio Vividh Bharati program assistant director, and Archana Shintre Joshi (also documented as Niyati Joshi), a television writer and acclaimed stage artist.

She has an older sister, Poonam Joshi, who is also a television actress.

She spent her childhood in Delhi and Mumbai and completed her schooling at Veer Bhagat Singh Vidyalaya in Mumbai.
