J. Madison Wright was born on July 29, 1984, in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, and was later raised in Lexington and London, Kentucky.
She was raised by Melissa Wright, Scott Wright, and was the eldest of four children, Tori Wright, Isaiah Wright, Elijah Wright.
At the age of five, J. Madison Wright began modeling. After leaving acting, she graduated from South Laurel High School and attended the University of the Cumberlands, where she studied English and earned teaching credentials.
Career
J. Madison Wright began her acting career in 1994 with guest appearances on Grace Under Fire before landing her breakthrough role as True Danziger in the NBC science fiction series Earth 2.
She later appeared in an Emmy-nominated episode of ER, where she portrayed Molly Phillips, and starred as Sam Wallace in the family drama Shiloh.
After appearing in The Burning Zone, The Osiris Chronicles, and Safety Patrol, J. Madison Wright stepped away from acting in 1998.
In 1999, she was diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy. She underwent a successful heart transplant in 2000.
