Kang Mi-na, professionally known as Kang Mi-na or simply Mina, is a South Korean actress, singer, rapper, television personality, and former idol who rose to prominence after finishing ninth on Produce 101 and debuting as a member of the project girl group I.O.I.

She later joined gugudan before successfully transitioning into acting, earning recognition for her performances in Hotel del Luna, Moonshine, Café Minamdang, Welcome to Samdal-ri, and several other television dramas.

Kang Mi-na was born on December 4, 1999, in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, before moving to Jeju Island during childhood, where she spent most of her formative years alongside Mr. and Mrs. Kang.

She grew up with a younger brother, and her family supported her ambition to pursue a career in entertainment after recognizing her passion for singing and performing.
