Early life and education
Lee Na-eun was born on May 5, 1999, in Cheongju, South Korea. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee and grew up alongside her older sister, Lee Ji-eun. Na-eun has Korean heritage and follows Protestant Christianity.
She was raised in Daejeon, where she attended Daejeon Galma Elementary School and Daejeon Dunsan Middle School before attending Hanbat High School. She later transferred to the School of Performing Arts Seoul, where she studied Theatre and Film and graduated in February 2018.
Career
Lee Na-eun entered the entertainment industry in 2015 after being introduced as a member of APRIL, which debuted under DSP Media on August 24 of that year. Before joining APRIL, she trained under JYP Entertainment and later moved to DSP Media.
She began her acting career with the 2016 VR web drama April Love and subsequently appeared in My Father Is Strange. Her breakthrough came with the web drama A-Teen in 2018, followed by A-Teen 2 and the popular MBC fantasy series Extraordinary You in 2019.
She also appeared in Hip Hop King: Nassna Street, Twenty-Twenty, Flex X Cop, Crash, and The Defects. Following APRIL’s disbandment in 2022, she signed with Namoo Actors and concentrated on acting. In 2025, she starred in The Defects, and in 2026 she appeared on Trend Shopper 5 and took the lead role in the short-form drama My Little Chef.
