Career

Her breakthrough continued through songs such as “Success,” “Fist City,” “You Ain’t Woman Enough,” “Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’,” and “Coal Miner’s Daughter.”
Her partnership with Conway Twitty produced a celebrated series of country duets. Lynn became the first woman to win the CMA Entertainer of the Year award in 1972.
She later expanded her legacy through her autobiography Coal Miner’s Daughter, the Oscar-winning film adaptation, and the Grammy-winning album Van Lear Rose. Her final studio album, Still Woman Enough, was released in 2021.
