Mindy Cohn (born May 20, 1966) is a renowned voice artist and actress from the United States. She is prominently remembered for her role as Natalie Green on the long-running sitcom titled The Facts of Life. Because of the role, so she received a Young Artist Award nomination.

Mindy Cohn later reprised the character in the spin-off series The Facts of Life Reunion, which aired from 1979 until 1988. 

She played Velma Dinkley in all six Scooby-Doo live-action films from 2002 to 2015, and later on, she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for her work on the latter.

Mindy Cohn was born and raised as a Jew in Los Angeles, California, United States, on May 20th, 1966. She was born to Ina Cohn (mother) and Nat Cohn (father).

Career

Mindy Cohn was recruited by an actress named Charlotte Rae and the creators of The Facts of Life while researching the program at Westlake School in Holmby Hills, California. 

She played Natalie Green during the whole nine-year run of the series 1979–1988, as well as in the reunion film, which premiered in 2001. 

“Charlotte Rae claimed to have fallen madly in love with me because I reminded her of her best childhood friend Natalie — and I was irrepressible, charming, and hilarious. As a result, she requested that the producers write a part for me in the show. To be honest, the affair sounded so amazing that I had no idea what to make of it.” Mindy Cohn kept in touch with Charlotte Rae after the show ended. 

When Mindy Cohn could not attend The Facts of Life reunion interview in 2016, two months before her acting mentor’s 90th birthday, she sent Charlotte Rae a video message thanking her for teaching her the trade of acting.
