Miquita Oliver was born on April 25, 1984, in Paddington, London, England, to Andi Oliver, a celebrated television presenter, chef, and former singer, and Robin Baillie, a Scottish art history teacher.
She was raised in Ladbroke Grove, West London. She has a sibling, Louis Oliver. Her godmother is actress Amanda Mealing, while singer Neneh Cherry is her aunt.
Miquita Oliver attended Holland Park School in London. At just sixteen years old, she was selected to co-host Popworld, becoming one of the youngest presenters on British television.
Career
Miquita Oliver began her broadcasting career in 2001 when she became the co-host of Channel 4’s Popworld alongside Simon Amstell.
Following the success of Popworld, she became one of the leading faces of T4. She later hosted The Month with Miquita on 4Music and presented shows on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra.
