Perdita Rose Annunziata Weeks (born December 25, 1985), addressed professionally as Perdita Weeks, is a beautiful actress and TV personality from the United States.

She is relished for playing Mary Boleyn in the hit TV show The Tudors. Despite not having received formal acting training in a drama school, she is a remarkable on-screen character as she is affectionately known. 

This stunning and naturally gifted performer, Perdita Weeks, who majors in art history, developed her acting abilities just by being exposed to movie sets at a young age. She claimed that when she was younger, she had no intention of following in the footsteps of her older sister.

Early Life & Education

Perdita Weeks was born in South Glamorgan, Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom, on December 25, 1985. She was born to advertising professional Robin Weeks (father) and independent copywriter Susan Weeks (mother). Information about her parents is scarce (who separated in 1993).

Her siblings, on the other hand, are well-known actors. She has two sisters: The second of her parents’ three kids is Honeysuckle Weeks, the oldest, who is also an actress and an inspiration to her younger sisters. Rollo Weeks, her second sister, who is the youngest, is a businesswoman and former entertainer. 

Perdita Weeks attended Roedean School, one of the priciest boarding schools in the UK, for his education. She attended the Courtauld Institute of Art, which is renowned for being one of the top institutions for art history and art conservation, for studying art history.

Career

Soon after graduating, Perdita Weeks entered the British film industry, surprising her senior colleagues. 

At the age of 7, she and her older sister Honeysuckle Weeks made their Hollywood debut in the 1993 TV miniseries Goggle Eyes, in which she played a protester yelling, We don’t want a bypass. Additionally, because of her uncanny likeness to her sister, they co-starred in Catherine Cookson‘s 1997 film The Rag Nymph, in which she portrayed the younger version of her sister’s character.

Perdita Weeks portrayed Dottie in the 1995 television series Ghosts. She played Anna Tatour in The Cold Light of Day and Sue in Robert Rylands’ Last Journey in 1996. 

In addition to Loving, The Prince and the Pauper, Stig of the Dump, Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Silk Stocking, and Midsomer Murders, Perdita Weeks also appeared in several other films and television shows. She was recognized for her role as a murderous teen in the latter of those two. 

She had an appearance in the radio comedy Bleak Expectations in 2007.

In the upcoming video game Du Lac & Fey: Dance of Death, she is set to lend her voice to the role of Morgan le Fay. An independent British studio created and released the adventure game, which is set in London in 1888. The video game includes the fabled characters Lancelot and Morgan le Fay.
