Stacie Mistysyn was born on July 23, 1971, in Los Angeles, California, to Mr. and Mrs. Mistysyn. She was raised in Toronto, Canada, alongside her siblings Cory Mistysyn and Kim Mistysyn.
She attended Malvern Collegiate Institute while working on Degrassi Junior High. She was later accepted into Ryerson University but chose to continue pursuing acting.
Career
Stacie Mistysyn entered the entertainment industry as a child, auditioning for The Kids of Degrassi Street at age 10. She played Lisa Canard from 1982 to 1986.
When Degrassi Junior High was developed, she returned to the franchise in a different role, portraying Caitlin Ryan, a character she continued playing in Degrassi High and later Degrassi: The Next Generation.
