Early life and education
Sulli was born on March 29, 1994, in Busan, South Korea. She was born to Mr. Jin-ri and Lee Soo-jeong and spent much of her childhood in Busan. Her ethnicity was Korean. She grew up alongside two older brothers and one younger brother.
Her religion was Protestant Christianity. Sulli began studying acting at a young age and moved to Seoul in 2004 while in fourth grade to attend the MTM Academy, where she studied acting, singing, and dancing. She later attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul.
