 After marrying American Keith Davis in June 2002, Bruegem, unfortunately, went through a divorce with him in December 2003. However, she again found love and tied the knot with Dutch actor Bastiaan Ragas on June 25, 2005.

 Interestingly enough, Ragas was her co-star in the musical 3 Musketeers. Their love story blossomed as they welcomed their first child on February 13, 2007. Overjoyed by their growing family, they were blessed with another daughter on May 28, 2008. Completing their trio of little girls, their third daughter was born on April 7, 2010.
