Zehra Yılmaz was born on July 30, 1992, in Mersin, Turkey. She was raised by Mr and Mrs Yılmaz. She attended a Russian school in Baku and learned Azerbaijani and Russian during her childhood.

She subsequently appeared in Kara Yazı and played Melisa Soyer in Cennet’in Gözyaşları. Her television résumé expanded further through Kimse Bilmez, Gençliğim Eyvah, Kalp Yarası, Kuruluş Osman, and Gül Masalı. She also appeared in the films Baba Parası, Zoraki Misafir, and Canım Dayım.
