Breck Eisner was born on December 24, 1970, in California, United States, to Michael Eisner and Jane Breckenridge. He grew up alongside his brothers, Eric Eisner and Anders Eisner.
He attended Harvard-Westlake School, studied English and Theatre at Georgetown University, and later earned a Master’s degree in Film Production from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.
Career
Breck Eisner began his directing career in the advertising industry, creating commercials for major brands including Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Sony, Sega, and Coors.
His success in commercial filmmaking opened opportunities in television, where he directed projects such as The Invisible Man, Taken, Fear Itself, The Brave, and numerous episodes of The Expanse.
He made his feature directorial debut with Thoughtcrimes before gaining international recognition for directing Sahara in 2005.
He later directed the critically praised horror remake The Crazies and the fantasy action film The Last Witch Hunter starring Vin Diesel.
