Sisterhood premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize in its East of the West competition. It became North Macedonia’s official submission for the 94th Academy Awards and later became the first Macedonian film to stream on Netflix.
Duma followed it with Skateboarding Is Not for Girls (2026), a coming-of-age drama inspired by her experiences in Skopje and developed through the Cannes Film Festival Residence. The film premiered at Tribeca, where she received the Nora Ephron Award, and she is developing her third feature, As Long as You Can Climb a Tree.
