His debut album, < n Duisend Ure>, was released later that same year and quickly achieved gold-level sales. Following this success, his second album, Net Vir Jou, was released in 2009 through Coleske Artists. 

Bobby van Jaarsveld not only performed but also authored and composed all the songs on the album. Within eight weeks, it attained platinum status and has since sold over 83,000 units, surpassing double platinum status.
