Boohle, originally named Buhle Manyathi, was born on February 19, 2002, in Vosloorus, Gauteng, South Africa. Raised in a musically inclined household, she began her singing journey at a tender age. Boohle, along with her sisters, Nomtee Manyathi and Zinhle Bri Manyathi, formed a musical trio and later joined a gospel singing trio.

In 2017, the Tshwane Gospel Choir recognized Boohle‘s exceptional talent, leading her to become a choir member.
