Dee Koala was born on the 11th day of March in 1998. She was born and raised in Khayelitsha town located in Cape Town, South Africa.
She developed a deep passion and love for poetry in secondary school. According to her, her elder brother and her friends who also loved rapping was her influence.
She claims she had a lot of friends who were interested in rapping.
