He was raised by his parents, Olive Osmond and George Osmond. He was the seventh son and eighth child of Olive and George Osmond and grew up with eight siblings: Marie Osmond, Jimmy Osmond, Merrill Osmond, Jay Osmond, Alan Osmond, Wayne Osmond, Virl Osmond, and Tom Osmond.

After attending American school, he had a successful career in the entertainment industry.

In the early 1970s, Osmond began to focus on his solo career. He released his first solo album, “Puppy Love,” in 1972.

The album was hugely successful, and the title track became his signature song. Osmond continued to release successful solo albums throughout the 1970s, including “Too Young” and “Down Like a Clown.”
