Early Life

Maxim Moh was born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Lukman on the 20th Of May 1991. He was given the birth name Ibrahim Pemisire by his parents.

Born in the ancient city of Ibadan and hailing from Osun State, he came from a Muslim household. Although he was raised in Ibadan alongside his siblings, his parents ensured that he was well in tune with his Yoruba heritage and taught him the Yoruba language, culture, and traditions from a young age. Also, he lived briefly in the Lagos Island area of Lagos State for a short period before moving to Ukraine.

From his early years, Maxim Moh had begun displaying his artistic gifts to the admiration of those who lived in his community. While he was enrolled as a student in a public secondary school in Ibadan, he began composing music lyrics during his free hours, developing his songwriting skills just for the fun of it cause most Muslims thinks music is of the devil and it’s a don’t go area as afar as a profession is concerned.

Maxim Moh obtained his First School Leaving Certificate and West African School Certificate from top schools in Oyo State, Ibadan, and then moved to FCE Oyo to get certified as a teacher. B

ut, he didn’t stop there; he went ahead to bag his degree certificate from AUE, Ondo State in southwest Nigeria, with flying colors.

Career

As an undergraduate student, Maxim Moh is only significant on education, and he focused right until the NYSC program exposes life reality that everything is not about being educated but doing what you love, so he started going to the studio to do his things.

During this period, he recorded many singles, but he refrained from promoting them because he wanted to fine-tune his sound very well before launching his professional career.

To commemorate his 29th birthday, Maxim Moh dropped his debut single on the 20th of May 2020. Binary‘s song was an instant hit and became a street anthem within weeks of its release. For weeks, it peaked many local music charts and was played regularly on local radio and TV stations.

Due to the single’s success, he was invited as a guest to the show, Ona Ola, which is aired on Able Online Television, and the Big Bang show wasn’t left behind.
