Their early work attracted the attention of Rob Hallett, who released their debut EP through his Robotunes imprint.

Nova Twins reached a new level with Supernova, released in June 2022.
The album entered the UK Top 30 and was shortlisted for the 2022 Mercury Prize, while the duo received two nominations at the 2023 BRIT Awards for Group of the Year and Best Rock/Alternative Act.
They subsequently performed extensively internationally and shared stages with artists including Muse, Bring Me the Horizon, Little Simz and Foo Fighters.
Their influence also extended beyond music through fashion, activism and initiatives supporting greater representation in alternative music.
Nova Twins remain active and continued their evolution with Parasites & Butterflies, released on 29 August 2025.
The album explores themes including identity, empowerment, grief, vulnerability and mental health, while retaining the heavy and experimental qualities associated with their earlier work. It reached No. 1 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart.
In 2026, the duo won Best Alternative Music Act at the MOBO Awards, further establishing their position as influential figures in modern British alternative rock.
