OMI was born on September 3, 1986, in Clarendon, Jamaica.
He was raised by his parents Kenroy Pasley, a musician and painter professionally known as Jah Ken, and Rachel Pasley. He was raised alongside three older siblings in a musical household that inspired his love for singing from an early age.
