Early Life and Education

Roksana Węgiel is now 20 years old and was born on 11 January 2005 in Jasło, Poland. She spent her childhood in Jasło, where her mother, Edyta and father, Rafał, supported her creative pursuits.

As a child, she trained in artistic gymnastics, ballroom dancing, and judo, even competing internationally in the latter. At age eight, she surprised campmates with her singing during a karaoke event at a judo camp in Croatia.

Roksana’s professional journey began in 2017 with her audition for The Voice Kids Poland. Performing Beyoncé’s “Halo,” she earned a unanimous turn from all three coaches and chose to join Edyta Górniak’s team.

On 24 February 2018, she won the competition with performances of “To nie ja!” and her original song “Żyj.” Shortly afterward, she signed with Universal Music Polska and released “Obiecuję.”

In September 2018, she was selected to represent Poland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk, where her track “Anyone I Want to Be” secured victory on 25 November 2018. The same year, she collaborated with Górniak on “Zatrzymać chwilę” for the Polish soundtrack of Hotel Transylvania 3.

Her self-titled debut studio album arrived on 7 June 2019, peaking at number 3 on the Polish charts. In 2023, she released her second album, 13+5, and continued to collaborate with prominent Polish artists while expanding her fanbase across Europe.
