Born on September 22, 1957, in Warracknabeal, Australia, Nick Cave was born to parents Dawn Cave (mother) and Colin Frank Cave (father). 

Amongst his siblings, Nick was the third of four children, with two elder brothers, Tim Cave and Peter Cave, and a younger sister named Julie Cave.
