Prateek Suri was born into the Punjabi family of Mr. and Mrs. Suri on the 5th of April 1988. He was born and raised in Delhi, India. He is an Indian by birth. He is from a close-knit family of four. He has a sister named Supriya Suri.
He grew up in a middle-class neighbourhood in Delhi, his father is from an entrepreneurial background, and his mother is a housewife.
When Prateek Suri was in high school, his parents had established a family business. He worked in the family business after school and during weekends. It was during this period that his love for entrepreneurship was born.
Prateek Suri was educated at Modern School Barakhamba Road, New Delhi, for his elementary and secondary school education. He joined the institution in 1994 and graduated in 2006 with excellent grades in his O’Levels.

After a few years of running his trading business, Prateek had raised enough capital to establish an electronics company. He established Maser Group in 2017 and began manufacturing Television sets, first selling to his local market. Within a short period, Prateek dominated the local market and sold hundreds of thousands of TV sets every month.
Having built customer trust and credibility in the local market, he moved into the international market by setting up Logistic Facility in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, and from there, Maser has enjoyed significant success in the African market.
Over the years, Prateek Suri has grown into the leading Smart TV manufacturer in the Middle East and Africa. He has sold millions of TV units to customers in the two regions. Under his leadership, the Maser Group became a unicorn Company in Africa valued at more than 1.9 billion USD and plans to expand into other markets.
