Meet Ndavi Nokeri Parents: Moses and Betty Nokeri

Moses and Betty Nokeri are a married couple who are both pastors and founders of God’s Grace Ministries. This South African-influenced capella music group aims to uplift and inspire people through gospel songs.

They are also the parents of Ndavi Nokeri, the Miss South Africa 2023 winner and the first black woman to represent the country at the Miss World pageant.

Moses Nokeri

Moses Nokeri was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1970. He grew up in a poor and violent neighborhood, where he witnessed many crimes and injustices.

He was drawn to music to express his emotions and find hope. He joined a local choir and learned to play the guitar and piano.

He also developed a strong faith in God and felt a calling to preach the gospel.

Betty Nokeri

Betty Nokeri was born in Limpopo, South Africa, in 1972. She was raised in a Christian family that valued education and service.

She excelled in school and dreamed of becoming a doctor. She also had a passion for singing and joined the church choir. She met Moses at a youth camp when she was 16, and they fell in love.

Love life

Moses and Betty married in 1992 after they both graduated from college. Moses studied theology, and Betty studied medicine.

They decided to combine their talents and passions and start a ministry that would use music as a tool to spread the word of God and help the needy.

They named their ministry God’s Grace Ministries and began to write and perform original songs that blended traditional and contemporary styles.


Moses and Betty have three children: Ndavi, Nkosi, and Naledi. Ndavi, their eldest daughter, was born in 1998. She inherited her parents’ musical and academic abilities and developed a keen interest in beauty and fashion.

She participated in various pageants and contests and won several titles and awards.

She became the Miss South Africa 2023 winner and the first black woman to represent the country at the Miss World pageant. She also launched her clothing line and foundation to empower young women.

Nkosi, their son, was born in 2000. He followed his father’s footsteps and studied theology. He also became a pastor and joined his parents’ ministry.

He is known for his charismatic and humorous preaching style and social media presence. He also plays the drums and sings in the ministry’s band.

Naledi, their youngest daughter, was born in 2002. She is a talented dancer and choreographer specializing in contemporary and African dance.

She also studies psychology and works as a counselor for youth and women. She is involved in various outreach and advocacy programs that address issues such as domestic violence, mental health, and human trafficking.


Moses and Betty have led God’s Grace Ministries for over 30 years. They have recorded and released several albums and performed in many concerts and events across South Africa and abroad.
