Meet Pauline Hanson’s Kids: Steven Zagorski, Adam Hanson, Tony Zagorski, and Lee Hanson

Pauline Hanson is one of Australia’s most recognizable political figures, best known as the founder and leader of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, a right-wing populist party that has shaped debates on immigration, multiculturalism, and national identity in Australia for nearly three decades.

Away from the Senate floor, Pauline Hanson is also a mother of four, and her children have quietly grown up largely outside the media spotlight she has occupied for most of her adult life.

Pauline Lee Hanson, born Pauline Lee Seccombe, was born on the 27th of May 1954 in Woolloongabba, a suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She is currently 72 years old.

Pauline was the fifth of seven children and the youngest daughter born to John Alfred “Jack” Seccombe and Hannorah Aloysius Mary “Norah” Seccombe. Her parents ran a fish and chip shop in Ipswich, Queensland, where Pauline and her siblings, including Judy Smith, worked from a young age. She is of white ethnicity and identifies as Christian.

Pauline attended Buranda Girls’ School before moving to Coorparoo State School, but she left formal education at just 15 years old, shortly before her first marriage and pregnancy. She stands at approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall.

Pauline’s love life has been eventful. She married Walter Zagorski, a Polish labourer, in 1971, though the union ended in divorce after Zagorski’s infidelity, following a brief reconciliation in 1977. In 1980, she married Mark Hanson, a tradesman from Queensland’s Gold Coast, a marriage that also ended in divorce in 1987 amid reports of domestic difficulties.

Since then, Pauline has been romantically linked to several men, including Morrie Marsden, Rick Gluyas, her former One Nation co-founder David Oldfield, country singer Chris Callaghan, to whom she was briefly engaged, and real estate agent Tony Nyquist. She has largely kept her private life out of the headlines despite the public’s curiosity.

Through her two marriages, Pauline Hanson welcomed four children: two sons with Walter Zagorski, and one son and one daughter with Mark Hanson.

Tony Zagorski

Tony Zagorski, also referred to in some reports as Anthony Zagorski, is Pauline Hanson’s eldest child. He is the first son she had with her first husband, Walter Zagorski, during their marriage in the 1970s.

Steven Zagorski

Lee Hanson

Lee Hanson is Pauline Hanson’s youngest child and only daughter, born in 1984 to Pauline and her second husband, Mark Hanson. Lee has occasionally featured in family interviews alongside her mother and siblings, including one memorable account of feeling embarrassed after Pauline was pulled up to sing karaoke in public.
