Career
Esfand created his Twitch account in 2012 and launched his YouTube channel in 2016. He began uploading recordings of his World of Warcraft raids to YouTube because he lacked hard drive space, and his private-server streams drew a growing audience.
In November 2017, Blizzard Entertainment issued a DMCA strike against the channel over those private-server streams, which pushed him to Twitch, where he rebuilt his audience and became a partner.
In February 2019, he joined Method Gaming as a content creator. On April 30, 2019, he and fellow streamer Matthew Rinaudo, known as Mizkif, were banned from Twitch over a joke aimed at the streamer and cosplayer Meowri after an incident at PAX East.
Both were unbanned seven days later. He left Method Gaming in June 2020, after the organization’s handling of harassment and abuse allegations drew criticism.
On October 11, 2020, Esfand co-founded One True King (OTK) with Zack Hoyt, known as Asmongold, Mizkif, Rich Campbell and Tips Out. The organization grew into one of the most influential creator collectives in streaming.
He is also a co-owner of the PC maker Starforge Systems, and has been linked with the publisher Mad Mushroom and the talent agency Mythic Talent.
His content moved from World of Warcraft into variety streams, sports content and Grand Theft Auto roleplay. In October 2021, he launched the weekly football show Let’s Go! Football in partnership with Twitch.
That same month, the Twitch leaks listed him 66th among top earners, with a reported payout of about $1.17 million. He crossed one million Twitch followers in early 2022.
He has also worked beyond his own channel. He served as a pre-fight interviewer at Creator Clash in 2022 and 2023, and in April 2023 he hosted a five-hour NFL Draft broadcast with creators and current and former NFL players.
Two days later, OTK‘s charity lift-a-thon raised over $140,000 for Games for Love. In 2025, he appeared as himself in the music video for “mary poppins” by bbno$.
Esfand was nominated for Best MMORPG Streamer at The Streamer Awards across three ceremonies. In 2024, he won Best Roleplay Streamer and was also nominated for Best Sports Streamer.
That year, his Grand Theft Auto roleplay streams put his channel among the ten most-watched English-language channels in the world. Red Bull later signed him as a Red Bull Player.
