Babalwa Mneno Mandel, aka Barbz, was born on the 12th of November 1977. Her parents raised her with good morals, so she grew up to be a very disciplined woman. 

She said her mother was the most influential person in her life because she was constantly teaching her good manners and behaviors. She also said that while she was growing up, she witnessed her father and her mother struggle to contribute in other to provide for her basic needs such as clothing, feeding, and education.

Babalwa Mneno has also modeled at the SA Fashion Week, the CPT Fashion Week, and dozens of other fashion shows across the globe. She has modeled from Nigeria to London to Moscow and Mexico. She was also the Sundowns Chikitas’ former CEO.
