He is seen across the country on Fox Sports 1 as the anchor of The Carton Show on weekday mornings. 

He previously co-hosted the sports radio show Carton and Roberts on WFAN in New York City.

Early Life And Education

Craig Harris Carton was born on January 31, 1969, in New Rochelle, New York. He may have had siblings, but the media is unaware of their identities. He was raised by her parents, who are anonymous but who wished to be addressed as Mr. and Mrs. Craig. 

In 1991, he earned a broadcast journalism degree from Syracuse University’s S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and graduated from New Rochelle High School.

Career

Carton started his career working as a broadcaster in 1991 at Buffalo’s WGR Radio. Later, in April 1993, he started working at WIP in Philadelphia and WWWE in Cleveland in 1992. Carton sat in for the station’s morning drive show on WIP, where he was a brazen weekend presenter known by the moniker “The Kid”.

Carton moved to Denver from the East Coast and worked primarily at KKFN 950 AM, also known as “The Fan.” He quickly became the highest-rated host in the history of the station when his morning show took off. After that, he started hosting the most popular local morning show in the market, KBPI’s morning slot. Carton moved out of Denver to take care of his pregnant wife Kim, expecting their first kid.

Carton later took over Scott Kaplan’s spot on WNEW-FM’s Sports Guys morning radio show in New York City towards the end of 2000. He was there for a year. With the addition of stunts like an on-air cockfight and “Pastapalooza,” he changed the course of the program. 

During the September 11, 2001 attacks, Carton and Blain Ensley were doing a live show on WNEW. Carton started co-hosting The Jersey Guys program on WKXW in July 2002. The program received a nomination for a Marconi Award as the nation’s best mid-market talk show.

Craig Harris Carton and Kim Carton are married. Mickey, Sonny, and Lucky are the three children he and his wife Kim raised. But in 2017, after he was detained by the police, his wife left him.
