Early Life and Education

Rondell Sheridan is now 67 years old. He was born on August 15, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois, and raised on the South Side of Chicago.

He attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he majored in interpersonal communications and minored in advertising, graduating in 1980. He then received acting training at the Circle in the Square Theatre School.

Career

Sheridan started performing stand-up comedy in the 1980s. He appeared on major talk shows such as The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

In acting, one of his earliest film roles was in Deadtime Stories (1986) in which he played a guard at a mental hospital.

He took a lead role on television in Minor Adjustments (1995-1996) as Dr. Ron Aimes, a child psychologist. Over time he guest-starred on various shows including Touched by an Angel, Kenan & Kel, The Jamie Foxx Show, and A Different World. He also starred as Andre Walker in Cousin Skeeter from 1998-2001.

Sheridan’s most famous role came in That’s So Raven (2003-2007) as Victor Baxter. He continued that role in Cory in the House (2007-2008) and later in Raven’s Home, joining the main cast in its later seasons.

He has also directed episodes of That’s So Raven and Cory in the House, and has directed short films including Nowhere Cafe (2016) among others.
