In 2006 he moved to GT 2000, an Argentine sports car series, where he won all three races he contested. His performances earned him a contract with Chip Ganassi Racing for the 2007 Indy Pro Series.
His career was nearly derailed in his first Indy Pro Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2007, when his car made contact with another competitor on lap 47, launched over the other car and into the catch fence.
The footbox of his car was sheared off, causing severe injuries to his feet and legs. He underwent extensive surgery on both legs below the knees and was confined to a wheelchair for a period. He recovered and returned to GT 2000 the following year, winning two of the four races he contested.

In 2023 he joined the FIA World Endurance Championship in the LMGTE Am class, competing at circuits including Portimão and Monza, and finished second in class at the 6 Hours of Portimão.
He has also competed in the IMSA SportsCar Championship in LMP2 machinery with AF Corse.
