Andrew Shue, the former “Melrose Place” actor turned philanthropist, married immigration lawyer Marilee Fiebig on Sunday at their farm in New Jersey, six weeks after their former spouses, onetime morning-show anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, wed in Arkansas.

The ceremony took place on the couple’s 92-acre property outside Stockton, N.J., before a small group of relatives and close friends. Shue, who is 59, wore a black suit.

Fiebig, 49, wore an off-the-shoulder white lace gown, a white shawl and a netted veil. Her 13-year-old daughter, Sabine Holmes, whom she has with Holmes, stood as a bridesmaid in a navy satin dress, alongside Lisa Bashishow, a finance executive and close friend of the bride. Shue’s sister, Elisabeth Shue, the Oscar-nominated star of “Leaving Las Vegas,” attended, as did his sons.

Holmes, meanwhile, spent the same day running the New York City Marathon, his fourth. He finished the 26.2-mile course in 4 hours 19 minutes 35 seconds. It was the first time he had run the race without Robach beside him; she sat out this year’s marathon and cheered from the sidelines.

Holmes had said before the race that he had never run one without her at his side, and he was also managing lingering effects of an injury from the 2024 Chicago Marathon.

The wedding came 11 days after Shue disclosed the engagement in an interview. He said the couple had gotten engaged quietly in the spring and kept the news private for months. “We’re very grateful and hopeful,” he said, describing the outcome as a happy ending he never saw coming. The proposal arrived more than a year after the two began living together, in early 2025.

The pairing drew attention because of how it began. In November 2022, photographs showed Robach and Holmes, who then co-anchored “GMA3: What You Need to Know” on ABC, in close company while each was still married to someone else. ABC News removed both from the air within days of the images surfacing, and both later left the network.

Robach and Holmes have said their relationship began after each had separated from a spouse. Fiebig issued a statement at the time criticizing her ex-husband’s lack of discretion, and her lawyer later said her only focus was the best interest of the couple’s daughter.

Shue and Robach had been married since 2010, and their divorce was completed in March 2023. Holmes, who filed for divorce from Fiebig in December 2022, reached a settlement with her that October; the two had also married in 2010.

News that Shue and Fiebig had become a couple surfaced in December 2023, the day after Robach and Holmes debuted their podcast, “Amy & T.J.” The pair made their red-carpet debut a year later at the Grassroot Soccer World AIDS Day Gala in New York.

Robach, 53, and Holmes, 49, announced their own engagement in the fall of 2025. They applied for a marriage license in Washington County, Ark., on Sept. 18 and were married the next day, a detail that became public only when the county clerk registered the license on Oct. 13.

Arkansas is Holmes’s home state: he was born in West Memphis and attended the University of Arkansas. The couple did not invite their former ABC colleagues. Each had been married twice before, Robach to Tim McIntosh from 1996 to 2008 and then to Shue, and Holmes to Amy Ferson from 2004 to 2007 and then to Fiebig. Holmes also has a daughter, Brianna, and a son, Jaiden, from his first marriage.

Shue played Billy Campbell on “Melrose Place” for six years beginning in 1992 and has spent much of his career since on charitable work, including a nonprofit called The Forum.

He was previously married to the floral designer Jennifer Hageney, with whom he has three sons: Nate Shue, Aidan Shue and Wyatt Shue. Fiebig, an immigration attorney, has largely stayed out of public view since the scandal.

Shue has described the magic of love as a shift from need to giving. Neither he nor Fiebig had said anything further in public about the ceremony by Monday.
