Blueface’s Baby Mama Nevaeh Akira Breaks Silence, Declares Herself Single
Nevaeh Akira seemingly announced her split from rapper Blueface on Tuesday, taking to her Instagram Story just weeks after the pair welcomed their first child together.
The internet personality declared herself single, capping a turbulent stretch that had already spilled across livestreams and social media for days.

“I’m set free,” Akira wrote in a series of posts, adding that she had endured a “long, traumatic headache with nothing but negativity.” She closed her message by suggesting the split was something she “truly maybe needed.”
Hours before her announcement, Blueface reportedly livestreamed while accusing Akira of lying to him about a tattoo. According to his account, Akira had previously told him she had gotten his face tattooed on her leg while he was incarcerated.
The rapper claimed he later discovered the tattoo was actually of fellow artist NBA YoungBoy, which Akira had since covered up. Akira appeared to confirm the accusation in a separate video, admitting she had gotten the tattoo and lied about its identity, saying she felt foolish for the decision.
By Tuesday afternoon, Akira had softened her tone considerably, returning to her Instagram Story with a more conciliatory message directed at Blueface.
She said she hoped the two could remain friends and build a stable co-parenting arrangement for their son, adding that she never intended to cause him pain and that the situation stemmed from a single bad decision rather than any deeper betrayal.
Her comments drew heavy engagement online, with many observers noting the shift between her earlier declaration of freedom and her later, more apologetic tone.
Akira, whose real name is Akira Williams, is 24 years old and works as an internet personality. She began dating Blueface in late 2025, and their relationship quickly became a fixture on his social media.
Akira drew widespread attention in December when she got the rapper’s legal first name tattooed beneath her chin.
That tattoo generated its own controversy after observers, including Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold Harvey, pointed out that the name appeared to be misspelled. Akira defended the ink at the time, saying she considered the relationship permanent, though she later downplayed its significance during a livestream.
The couple’s relationship had already weathered at least one prior public breakup. In January, Blueface announced on social media that Akira had been “cut from the roster,” using blunt, transactional language to describe the end of their romance following his livestream appearance with rapper Stunna Girl.
Akira responded at the time by asking that her name be kept separate from whatever else was happening in Blueface’s dating life, while maintaining that she wished him well.
The two reconciled the following month and announced in February that Akira was pregnant with their child. Akira later revealed the couple had previously conceived and chosen not to continue with that pregnancy before deciding to move forward the second time.
Their son, whom they named Jonathan Jamal Porter Jr. after his father, was born on August 18. Akira reportedly went into labor while Blueface was livestreaming and in the process of seeing off fellow rapper Chrisean Rock at an airport.
She informed him of her contractions during the stream, and the birth quickly became a talking point across entertainment outlets given the timing.
The newest breakup adds another chapter to Blueface’s widely documented romantic history. The rapper, born Johnathan Michael Porter on January 20, 1997, in Los Angeles, California, is 29 years old and has children with three different women.
His first two children, a son named Javaughn Johnathan Porter and a daughter named Journey Alexis Porter, were born to Jaidyn Alexis, whom he reportedly met in high school. The two later got engaged before ultimately separating.
He also shares a son with Chrisean Rock, whose relationship with Blueface became one of the most closely followed celebrity pairings in recent years, spawning its own reality television coverage and years of public volatility.
Blueface has built a career defined as much by chart success as by legal and personal controversy. He rose to prominence with his 2018 single “Thotiana,” which peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100, and has continued releasing music since, including his debut studio album Find the Beat.
He served time in prison after a 2021 assault conviction involving a security guard and was released in 2025. Since then, he has remained a frequent subject of entertainment coverage, including a recent public dispute with rapper Soulja Boy over ownership of his music catalog.
