G Flip Flew to Los Angeles to Tell Chrishell Stause They No Longer Loved Her
TMZ reports that Chrishell Stause was blindsided when G Flip ended their four-year romance, saying the Australian musician told the former Selling Sunset star their romantic feelings had faded.
Sources told the outlet that G Flip, 33, recently flew from Australia to Los Angeles for a difficult conversation in which they said they now saw Stause, 45, more as a friend than as a partner. Stause is said to be heartbroken.

The split became public on Monday, Oct. 26, when Stause posted a tearful video to Instagram. “I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys,” she began, before confirming that she and G Flip were no longer together.
The two agreed to treat the separation “with love and respect,” she said, adding that it wasn’t hard for her because she remained in love with G Flip. She admitted she didn’t have all the information or the reasons behind the decision, a remark many read as a sign G Flip had ended things.
Stause said she felt like “a little bit of a failure” and would need time to heal. She explained that fans deserved more than a cold written statement after years of support, though she vowed she was “definitely never doing this again.”
She also tried to find perspective. “I will always love G, and I don’t ever really see that changing,” she said, adding that everyone deserves to be happy and that she wished the same for both of them. Four-plus amazing years, she suggested, wasn’t a miss, just a different ending than she had imagined.
G Flip, whose legal name is Georgia Claire Flipo and who uses they/them pronouns, posted a separate written statement the same day. “After 4+ years Chrishell and I are no longer together,” the musician wrote, adding that they would always love her, that the two would always share a special connection, and that they cherished their memories together.
G Flip said their head and heart were feeling very heavy and did not elaborate. By then, both stars had removed photographs of each other from their Instagram accounts, and People reported, citing a source, that G Flip ended the relationship.
The later reporting from TMZ offered the first detailed explanation. The relationship was described as harmonious right up to the end, with no betrayal or blowup involved. The outlet said the breakup had nothing to do with Stause being difficult, pushing back on claims made by people close to her former castmates.
Those claims arrived quickly. Other sources told TMZ that the Selling Sunset cast was not surprised that G Flip had ended what the pair called their “spiritual marriage,” that everyone had found G Flip kind and genuine, and that Stause has a mean streak and has fallen out with nearly every cast member since leaving the Netflix series.
Bre Tiesi, a cast member, appeared on TMZ Live and weighed in on the split, which the outlet characterized as a subtle dig at Stause. The two have a history: Stause publicly criticized Tiesi in April 2025 over a political social media post and a slur.
Jason Oppenheim, the Oppenheim Group co-founder who dated Stause in 2021 and is now in a relationship with Jessica Vargas, left a message of support in the comments of her announcement.
The marriage itself carried an asterisk. Stause and G Flip held a private ceremony in Las Vegas in May 2023, which Stause described as a spur-of-the-moment decision, with some of her co-stars watching by livestream. They later renewed their vows in themed celebrations with friends and family. According to TMZ, no marriage license was ever filed, so there is no legal divorce to settle.
The couple met in October 2021 at a Halloween party hosted by the Australian singer Tones and I, when each was in another relationship. G Flip later told Vogue Australia that Stause had been stood up at a gathering in early 2022 and that the two ended up kissing.
Stause, who had never publicly dated a woman, withdrew from a planned dating show to pursue the romance, and she appeared in G Flip‘s music video for “Get Me Outta Here.”
She introduced G Flip to the world at the Selling Sunset reunion in May 2022, describing them as nonbinary, extremely talented and very important to her. A year later, she announced the marriage in an Instagram post that coincided with the release of G Flip‘s single “Be Your Man.”
Stause rose to fame as a soap opera actor on All My Children and Days of Our Lives before Selling Sunset made her one of reality television’s best-known real estate agents.
She announced her divorce from actor Justin Hartley, whom she married in 2017, in 2019 and finalized it in 2021. She exited the series last year after nine seasons.
G Flip, a Melbourne-born drummer and singer known for the album Drummer and the single “Disco Cowgirl,” has built a career as one of Australia’s most visible queer pop artists.
The pair were last seen together on a red carpet in Los Angeles in June, smiling for cameras. Neither has said whether they plan to speak further about the split.
