Las Vegas had seen plenty of grand entrances over its storied decades on the American entertainment landscape, but on the night of Thursday, June 11, 2026, the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road belonged entirely to one woman in pink.

Lisa Vanderpump, the British-born restaurateur, television personality, and hospitality entrepreneur, officially opened The Vanderpump Hotel, her most ambitious venture yet, and did so in exactly the fashion her brand has always promised: over the top, impossibly glamorous, and very deliberately on her own terms.

Vanderpump pulled up to the property in a custom Rolls-Royce, making a theatrical entrance through the main casino floor flanked by bellmen, a moment that felt less like a business opening and more like a coronation. Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom and executives from Caesars Entertainment joined her for the formal grand opening ceremony, but there was never any doubt about whose night it was.

The hotel, which occupies 188 rooms at 3595 South Las Vegas Boulevard, was previously known as The Cromwell, itself a rebranding of Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall and Saloon, which had operated on that same footprint since 1979 as the Barbary Coast.

The property was fully redesigned from the ground up by Vanderpump and her collaborator, designer Nick Alain, in what the two have described as an “industrial romantic” aesthetic.

The rooms feature moss-green walls, dusty lilac accents, dark velvet headboards with silver geometric gold frames, custom Vanderpump–Alain furnishings, and lighting specifically engineered to be flattering, a detail that feels quintessentially on-brand for a woman who has turned the art of atmosphere into a business empire. The lobby bar features a massive Pomeranian statue named after Vanderpump’s beloved dog Gigolo, known to fans of her television work as Giggy.

The partnership with Caesars Entertainment is not a new one. Vanderpump has previously worked with the company on several Las Vegas dining concepts, including Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, Vanderpump à Paris, and Pinky’s, the last of which opened in December 2024 at the adjacent Flamingo Las Vegas.

Sean McBurney, Chief Commercial Officer and Regional President of Caesars Entertainment, has described Vanderpump as the most hands-on business partner he has encountered in twenty years in the industry, overseeing everything from design to manufacturing to property inspections. “We’ve had a phenomenal partnership with Lisa, developing three very successful restaurants in Las Vegas,” McBurney said. “Now we get to take Lisa’s vision and expertise to the next level.”

The hotel, which began welcoming guests on May 29, 2026, ahead of the official grand opening celebration, offers 21 signature suites alongside its standard rooms, with the top-tier Royal Rascal suite featuring a pool table, eight-seat dining table, sectional, soaking tub, and steam shower.

But the evening’s celebrity energy extended well beyond the host herself. The guest list was packed with familiar faces, including Tom Sandoval, Jessi Draper, and Holly Madison, names that collectively represent different chapters of the reality television universe Vanderpump has long occupied. Among those arrivals, however, one couple drew a particular current of attention.

James Kennedy, 34, the British-born DJ and longtime cast member of “Vanderpump Rules”, stepped onto the Strip that night with Jordan Meyers, 23, a North Carolina native who is four months pregnant with his first child. It was their first public appearance together since the pregnancy was confirmed, and Kennedy looked, by all accounts, genuinely at ease, grinning with the kind of settled happiness that his decade in the public eye has not always afforded him.

The pregnancy had circulated in tabloid reports for roughly a month before Kennedy addressed it directly. Speaking to People, he confirmed the news, saying, “We are thrilled to share that Jordan and I are expecting our first child together. The couple has been together for roughly eight months.

Kennedy’s personal life has, for years, been as much a part of the “Vanderpump Rules” narrative as any plotline the show’s producers could engineer. His early romance with Kristen Doute unfolded in Season 2 of the show, following her breakup from Tom Sandoval, before that relationship dissolved.

Doute has since moved on, now engaged to her “The Valley” co-star Luke Broderick, with the two welcoming a daughter, Kaia Lily Broderick, in June 2025.

After Doute, Kennedy became engaged to Rachel Leviss, then known as Raquel, though that relationship ended in December 2021. He then dated Ally Lewber, 30, from January 2022 until January 2025, a relationship that played out across multiple seasons of “Vanderpump Rules” before ending shortly after Kennedy was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanour domestic violence in December at the couple’s Burbank, California home. No charges were ever filed, and Lewber later stated she had not been physically hurt that night.

In the eighteen months following that incident, Kennedy focused on sobriety, charitable work involving organizations such as the Midnight Mission, Vanderpump Dogs, and Pups Without Borders, and rebuilding his DJ career, including appearances at Coachella’s Neon Carnival, Diplo’s HonkyTonk at Stagecoach, and EDC, along with residencies at LIV at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The grand opening also carried significance beyond the personal. It comes ahead of Vanderpump’s upcoming limited Bravo reality series, “Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas”, which will document the lead-up to the hotel’s launch.

The show represents Bravo’s continued investment in the Vanderpump universe at a moment when the flagship series, “Vanderpump Rules”, has faced considerable audience speculation about its future. The network has not cancelled the original show, despite persistent fan conjecture to the contrary.

For Vanderpump herself, the hotel represents something more than another venue on a long list of successful properties.

It is the first hotel to bear her name, the most complete expression of her aesthetic vision to date, and a reminder that, more than a decade after “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” made her a household name in America, she remains one of the more durable and genuinely business-minded personalities the reality television genre has ever produced.

Las Vegas, a city that has always understood the value of spectacle, seems to have met its match.
