The assault occurred after the officials had engaged with Portable‘s father at Odogwu Bar, seeking to verify building plans. Portable, allegedly armed with a firearm and other weapons, led the attack, resulting in the officials sustaining injuries but managing to escape and report the incident to the Ota Area Command.
Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of nine accomplices, but Portable has evaded capture. Despite multiple invitations to present himself at the police command, Portable has failed to comply, leading to a court-issued arrest order.
The public is urged to assist in locating Portable, with warnings that anyone found aiding him will face legal repercussions. Information leading to his arrest can be reported to any police station or directly to the Ogun State Police Command.
