He does, however, have more important matters to contend with at present – as his own pursuit of precious points determines who will be crowned the greatest racing driver in Formula 1.
There is little margin for error there, around sweeping corners and jagged chicanes, with fractions of a second often the determining factor in thrilling surges towards the checkered flag.
Wolves may have found those marginal gains hard to come by, as they pay the ultimate price in soccer circles, but Russell can give locals in that part of the world something to shout about as he chases down the most prestigious of prizes.
