Aboki Naira to Dollar Black Market Exchange Rate Today, 11st September 2026
The Aboki or parallel market naira-to-dollar exchange rate stood near ₦1,390 to ₦1,410 per US dollar on Friday, 11 September 2026, as street dealers in Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt continued to quote a noticeable premium over the official window.
Traders were generally buying dollars at about ₦1,380–₦1,385 and selling them at ₦1,390–₦1,410, with the most commonly reported Aboki figures clustering around a ₦1,410 sell rate and ₦1,385 buy rate.

That left the informal market roughly ₦60–₦80 above the latest official Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market rate, which closed near ₦1,328–₦1,329 per dollar after the Central Bank of Nigeria injected about $151 million into the system the previous session. The gap meant $100 cost around ₦139,000–₦141,000 on the street versus roughly ₦132,800–₦132,900 at the official rate.
Market watchers noted the dollar had eased slightly in some parallel-market quotes over the prior 24 hours even as demand for hard currency remained firm among importers, travellers and businesses that cannot easily access the official window.
Rates still varied by city, transaction size and individual dealer, so buyers and sellers were advised to confirm current quotes before exchanging cash. The persistence of the spread underscored ongoing pressure on naira liquidity despite recent official interventions and a modest firming of the currency in the formal market.
