Aboki Naira to Dollar Black Market Exchange Rate Today, 23rd September 2026
The unofficial Aboki market kept the dollar in a familiar range on Wednesday, 23 September 2026, with Bureau de Change operators and street dealers in Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt buying the greenback around ₦1,375 and selling it near ₦1,390.
That left the parallel rate about ₦47 to ₦62 above the latest official Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market figure of roughly ₦1,328 per dollar, a premium of around 4.5 percent that traders said had not widened much from the previous session.

Demand from importers and travellers remained firm, while remittance inflows and some official-window supply helped prevent a sharper jump in street prices, though exact quotes still varied by city and by the size of each deal. At the prevailing selling rate, one hundred dollars cost about ₦139,000, while a seller of the same amount received closer to ₦137,500.
The naira had gained a little at the official window a day earlier, yet the unofficial market continued to set the price most people actually pay when banks cannot meet immediate demand.
Liquidity conditions, oil-revenue timing and seasonal import needs still shape daily movements, and rates can shift during trading hours, so anyone exchanging currency is advised to confirm the latest figure with a licensed operator before completing a transaction.
