Aboki Naira to Dollar Black Market Exchange Rate Today, 2nd August 2026
The Nigerian naira held steady in the parallel market on Sunday, 2 August 2026, with Aboki dealers quoting the US dollar at a buying rate of ₦1,412 and a selling rate of ₦1,422.
These figures, drawn from parallel market trackers including Aboki Forex platforms, showed little change from the previous day’s levels as trading activity remained subdued on the non-business day.

Currency operators in Lagos, Abuja and other major centres reported moderate demand from individuals handling personal transfers, school-related payments and small-scale import needs, while overall dollar supply in the informal segment stayed sufficient to prevent sharp movements.
The premium over the official rate continued to hover near 3.5 to 4 percent. At the Central Bank of Nigeria window, the naira last closed around ₦1,368.22 per dollar on Friday, reflecting the final official trading session of the preceding week.
Market participants noted that the parallel rate has fluctuated within a relatively narrow band in recent sessions, supported by ongoing external reserve levels near $51.9 billion and steady remittance inflows, though import demand and seasonal pressures continue to influence street-level quotes.
Rates can differ slightly by location and dealer, and the Central Bank does not recognise black-market transactions, advising the public to use authorised banking channels for foreign exchange. As the new week begins, attention will remain on liquidity conditions and any policy signals that could affect both official and parallel market dynamics.
