Aboki Naira to Dollar Black Market Exchange Rate Today, 6th November 2026
Street dealers in Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt quoted the United States dollar between ₦1,380 and ₦1,420 on the informal Aboki market on Friday, 6 November, as the naira moved in a moderately wider band. Dealers bought cash dollars from customers at about ₦1,380 to ₦1,400 and sold at about ₦1,390 to ₦1,420.
In practical terms, a customer handing over $100 collected roughly ₦138,000 to ₦140,000, while a buyer seeking the same amount paid close to ₦139,000 to ₦142,000.

The official Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market rate published by the Central Bank of Nigeria stood near ₦1,348 to ₦1,349 per dollar. This leaves the street premium at roughly ₦40 to ₦70, or about 3 to 5 percent, a gap that remains comparatively contained by recent historical standards.
Demand from importers, students and travellers stayed orderly rather than intense. External reserves reported above $55 billion and steady oil receipts continue to support official liquidity, which has kept pressure on the parallel market in check.
Quotes still differed by location, transaction volume and the time of day, and operators noted that the informal rate can shift before the close of business. Cash transactions outside the banking system remain the practical benchmark for many users who cannot obtain dollars at the CBN rate.
Anyone planning an exchange should confirm the live quote with a trusted bureau or dealer, since parallel-market prices are not uniform and can move on local supply and remittance inflows.
