Nollywood actress and producer Adanma Luke poured out her emotions regarding the devastating incident involving Junior Pope and four crew members while filming “The Other Side of Life” in Asaba, Delta State.

She shared the moments leading up to the tragedy, including her last-minute change of plans not to join the crew on the boat and the frantic search efforts that ensued.

The actress revealed her anguish over the disappearance of Junior Pope and the other crew members after the boat capsized, leaving her shattered. Despite her tireless efforts to recover their bodies and support their grieving families, Adanma couldn’t shake off the overwhelming grief.

In response to the tragedy, the Actors Guild of Nigeria has taken a proactive step by temporarily banning actors from participating in any film produced by Adanma Luke.
