Tipsy Passenger Scams Her Boyfriend; I Get Involved

Last night, I picked up a heavily intoxicated lady at a party in Lekki, & her destination was Iyana Ipaja.

She was so drunk that she couldn’t even count her steps as she got into the car, relying on her friends to help her settle in. As soon as I saw her condition, I expressed my concerns, telling them that I couldn’t take her like that.

Her friends pleaded with me, explaining that she had embarrassed herself at the party. My first question was, “Who’s going to pay the fare?” They replied that it would be her boyfriend. I made it clear that if she vomited in my car, he would be charged five times the original fare.

Upon hearing “five times,” they quickly called her boyfriend. When he arrived, I laid out the situation to him, & after a moment of thinking about it, he agreed to pay the extra fee if she were to vomit during the ride.

With this settled, I drove off. Initially, she seemed completely knocked out, but as soon as I hit the expressway, she suddenly laughed out loudly. Then she revealed, “I’m not really drunk; I just pretended so to leave the party, and only one of my friends knows.”

I was taken aback as she continued, “My boyfriend is stingy, and I want to get back at him, so we’re going to make a deal.” “I’m listening,” I replied. She then proposed that she would force herself to throw up in my car, I would call her boyfriend to update him, and when he asked for proof, I would do a video.

We’d then split the money he sent 70/30. I politely declined her offer. However, without hesitation, she stuck her fingers down her throat and vomited all over the mats in my car. I hurriedly parked, shocked by the mess she had made, and thought to myself, “This girl is out of her mind.”

She looked at me and asked, “Are you going to call him or not?” I sighed and told her, “You call him.” She sighed, smiled, and proceeded to make the WhatsApp video call. Her boyfriend was visibly anxious on the other end, struggling to calm her down.

I just watched the drama unfold, shaking my head in disbelief. In the end, I drove her home, and her boyfriend sent the five times fare. We split it 70/30, not counting the original fare. Before I left, she turned to me and asked, “Are you ready to do business with me again?” I replied, “Sounds fair.”

So today, she plans to have me take her to several places, promising that her boyfriend will handle the payments.
