   Shin Ryu-jin, known professionally as Ryujin, is a South Korean rapper, singer, and dancer who rose to prominence as a member of the girl group ITZY under JYP Entertainment.

She was introduced to the public through her participation in the survival show MIXNINE, where she secured the top spot among female contestants.

Ryujin was born on April 17, 2001, in Chuncheon, South Korea, and raised in Seoul. She has an older brother, Shin Rhusung, who was born in 1998. Both of her parents are Korean medicine doctors. Ryujin attended Hanlim Multi Art School, graduating from the Department of Practical Dance on February 7, 2020.

Her early exposure to the entertainment industry began when a JYP Entertainment casting director scouted her at a GOT7 fan meeting. She joined JYP as a trainee in 2015 and trained for approximately four years before debuting with ITZY in 2019.
