Armand Aucamp was born on January 11, 1987, in Cape Town. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Aucamp, both of whom worked as university lecturers.
He grew up in an Afrikaner family and attended English-medium schools. His siblings are Marcelle, his sister, and Christoff. His religion is Christianity.
Aucamp developed an interest in performance before entering professional theatre and completed his acting training at CityVarsity School of Media and Creative Arts in Cape Town, graduating in 2009 at the top of his class.

The couple first met in 2018, began dating in 2021 and became engaged in Paris on New Year’s Eve in 2022.
They legally married on December 4, 2023, in Stellenbosch and later celebrated their wedding ceremony in Rawsonville. He does not have any children.
